Contact and Technical Support Desk

Contact the Sterling technical support desk with a clear subject, product or batch identifier, order reference where relevant, and the specific document or issue requiring review. Do not send payment-card details, passwords, patient information or requests for dosing and self-administration advice. Urgent safety incidents should use appropriate emergency channels.

Choose the right support route

The technical support desk handles product specifications, batch certificates, order records, delivery investigations, wholesale requests, privacy questions and website accessibility reports. A precise message can be routed more quickly than a general request.

Email the technical support desk

The displayed address comes from the verified WordPress administration setting. Before launch, the operator should configure a monitored role-based address, publish normal service hours and define realistic response targets. A theme cannot promise an answer time that the operating team has not approved.

Product specification questions

Use the product name, catalogue identifier or SKU and state the exact field requiring clarification. Useful questions concern sequence, molecular formula, stated quantity, physical form, counter-ion, solubility information, storage condition, available analytical method or the relationship between a product and its batch record.

Review the research peptide catalogue and peptide glossary first. A product page describes the offered material; a general guide cannot override its batch-specific record.

Support can clarify documented specifications. It cannot design personal-use protocols, recommend clinical reconstitution, calculate a dose or advise on injection, ingestion, topical application or treatment.

Certificate of Analysis requests

For a certificate question, include the product, SKU, batch or lot number printed on the vial, order reference and the document identifier if one is shown. Explain whether the issue concerns document access, batch matching, HPLC data, mass confirmation, units, calculations or an apparent inconsistency.

Search the Certificate of Analysis library before contacting the desk. A certificate for another batch cannot be treated as evidence for the material received. Do not remove the label or discard the package while a traceability question is open.

If you believe a document has been altered, send the file or page location and explain the discrepancy. Do not publish an accusation or disclose another customer’s data; the quality team should preserve the record and investigate it through a controlled process.

Quality concerns and delivery condition

Report a suspected quality or shipping problem promptly. Provide the order reference, product, batch, quantity affected, delivery date and time, condition on receipt, storage steps after receipt and clear photographs of the outer package, inner packaging, seal, label and any temperature indicator.

Quarantine questionable material under its stated storage condition. Do not use it, combine it with other stock or destroy it unless an immediate safety procedure requires action. Retain packaging because it may contain courier, seal and batch evidence.

The shipping and receipt guide explains the initial inspection process. The HPLC quality hub explains why a quality investigation considers identity, method, handling and chain of custody rather than a purity number alone.

Order and payment support

For an order question, provide the order number, organisation name, billing contact and a concise description. State whether the issue is an acknowledgement, amendment, payment status, invoice, cancellation, return or refund. Do not send full payment-card details, card security codes, online-banking credentials or passwords.

An automated acknowledgement is not necessarily order acceptance. Stock, payment and research-use checks may still be required. Read the payment policy and published laboratory supply terms for the current workflow.

If you suspect an unauthorised payment, contact the payment provider or card issuer through its official route as well as Sterling. Email cannot secure a compromised bank account.

Delivery and tracking questions

Include the order number, destination postcode, tracking reference and the latest courier event. Do not send a complete personal address in an initial public or social-media message. Support may verify account details through a controlled channel.

A tracking delay does not prove that the product is damaged, and a delivered scan does not resolve a missing parcel. Explain whether the package is delayed, marked delivered but absent, visibly damaged, warm on receipt, misdirected or incomplete. Preserve evidence and note when the issue was discovered.

Where a temperature-controlled service was expressly agreed, provide the logger or indicator record and acceptance range. Standard tracked carriage must not be described as validated cold chain without supporting controls.

Bulk and institutional enquiries

Bulk requests should identify the organisation, purchasing authority, research context, exact product or sequence, target quantity, analytical requirements, packaging format, documentation needs, delivery region and intended schedule. Use an institutional email where possible.

The wholesale enquiry guide contains a complete request checklist. A support response or quotation does not reserve stock or approve a proposed use unless it expressly says so.

Universities and larger organisations can state vendor-onboarding, purchase-order, insurance, quality-agreement and invoicing requirements. Sterling should confirm only capabilities it has verified.

Privacy requests

Use a clear subject such as “privacy request” and identify the relevant account, order or interaction without attaching unnecessary identity documents. State whether you seek access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, marketing withdrawal or information about processing.

Sterling may need proportionate identity verification before disclosing personal information. The privacy policy describes the process and identifies Sterling Research Group Ltd as controller. Its registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom; use this support desk for privacy requests.

Never place private customer information in a product review, website comment or public social-media message. Report an apparent data exposure directly so the operator can begin its incident process.

Research-use and regulatory questions

Explain the organisation, jurisdiction, proposed laboratory purpose and applicable approval if you need a supply-boundary review. Sterling can describe its product status and order policy but cannot provide a definitive legal opinion for every project.

The research-use-only policy lists prohibited personal, clinical, consumer and veterinary uses. Requests for a dose, cycle, injection technique, treatment result or self-experimentation advice will not be answered and may cause an order to be refused.

For a borderline product classification, import control, controlled-substance issue or regulated study, obtain advice from the relevant authority or a qualified professional. A customer-service reply is not a licence or ethics approval.

Information not to send

Do not send:

  • full card numbers, card security codes or bank passwords;
  • account passwords or one-time authentication codes;
  • patient files, medical histories or identifiable health information;
  • dosing, injection or self-administration requests;
  • unnecessary passport or identity-document copies;
  • malware, executable files or unrelated confidential datasets;
  • abusive, threatening or discriminatory content.

If support needs additional verification, it should explain what is required, why it is necessary, how to transmit it and how long it will be retained.

Safety and emergency boundaries

The support desk is not an emergency, medical, poison-control or clinical service. It cannot assess symptoms or manage an exposure. If a person or animal may have been exposed, contact the appropriate emergency service, poison-information route or qualified medical or veterinary professional immediately and provide the product label where safe to do so.

Laboratories should follow their incident response, spill, exposure and waste procedures. A workplace event should also be reported through the organisation’s safety system. Contact Sterling afterward with the product and batch details needed for a supplier investigation, but do not delay urgent assistance while waiting for a reply.

Accessibility and website reports

Report a keyboard, screen-reader, focus, contrast, form-label, zoom or document-access problem with the page address, device, browser and assistive technology where comfortable. Describe the task you were trying to complete and the format that would work.

Avoid sending sensitive data in a screenshot. Sterling should acknowledge reproducible accessibility defects, provide a reasonable alternative and prioritise issues that block ordering, policy access or batch-document review.

Security vulnerabilities should be reported privately with the affected address, reproduction steps and potential impact. Do not access, download or alter other people’s information while testing. The operator should publish a coordinated-disclosure route before launch.

Complaints and escalation

A complaint should state what happened, the order or batch involved, relevant dates, steps already taken and the outcome sought. Support should preserve the record, assign the appropriate commercial, quality, privacy or security owner and provide a reasoned response.

If the concern remains unresolved, ask for internal escalation. External rights may also exist through a payment provider, regulator, court or alternative dispute route. The applicable route depends on the customer, contract and subject; Sterling should not misstate it.

Preparing a useful message

Use a descriptive subject and one issue per message where practical. Put essential identifiers at the top, describe observed facts in date order, attach only relevant files and state the response you need. Separate what you observed from what you infer.

Support records form part of order, quality and compliance history. Keep the thread intact and quote the reference when following up. If circumstances change, add the new fact rather than sending multiple duplicate requests.
